Professional Profile....Continued

Prior to being named as the corporate chief geotechnical engineer in 2005, I had served as the chief geotechnical engineer for QORE’s Atlanta branch since 1986.  I provided geotechnical training to the Atlanta engineering staff & senior engineering review for projects performed throughout QORE’s service area.  I chaired QORE’s Geotechnical Peer Review Committee and was responsible for the technical proficiency of the Atlanta branch’s geotechnical laboratory.  I was also a periodic guest lecturer at Georgia Tech, in both the Civil Engineering Department and the Building Construction Department.  While employed with QORE, I served on its Board of Directors.  I currently serve as an outside director on QORE’s Board of Directors.

Prior to my joining QORE (formerly AT&E Consultants) in 1986, I was a senior geotechnical engineer for Law Engineering Testing Company (now MACTEC) in Birmingham, Alabama; Ground Engineering and Testing Service in Birmingham, Alabama; Pensacola Testing Laboratories in Pensacola, Florida; and Soil and Material Engineers in Columbia, South Carolina.  The majority of my work experience in Alabama and Florida was on industrial projects for the steel, paper, and chemical industries.  The majority of my work experience in South Carolina and Georgia was on commercial, institutional, and DOT projects......continue here to page
